A life devoted to building people, ideas, and possibility.

I am Dr. Lilly Mbinglo, CPA, a woman of faith, wife, mother, entrepreneur, educator, author, and speaker. I have spent much of my life learning, building, teaching, serving, and helping others recognize what is possible for them. At the center of my life are my relationship with God, my commitment to family, my love for people, and my desire to use what I have learned to serve others well.

CPA and Entrepreneur

I am the founder and CEO of The Ark NPS, a full-service CPA and advisory firm serving individuals, entrepreneurs, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and leaders who need more than numbers on a financial statement. My work includes accounting, bookkeeping, tax preparation and planning, business advisory, business formation and restructuring, financial management, nonprofit compliance, organizational strategy, and financial education.

I believe accounting should tell a story, taxes should be planned for rather than simply reacted to, and business owners should understand and use their numbers strategically. Under my leadership, The Ark NPS has earned hundreds of five-star client reviews. I have also been recognized by Thinkers360 as Consultant of the Year.

Educator, Author, and Speaker

I serve as an Accounting Professor at Regent University, teaching graduate-level accounting courses in its MBA and M.S. in Accounting programs. I help students connect technical knowledge to real decisions, think critically, ask better questions, and understand the responsibility that accompanies professional expertise.

Writing and speaking are extensions of that teaching. My books help individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and young people think differently about business, money, taxes, entrepreneurship, and legacy. As a TEDx speaker, I bring both the technical knowledge of a CPA and professor and the practical experience of an entrepreneur into business, academic, professional, nonprofit, faith, and community settings.

Builder, Family, Faith, and Legacy

If one word describes much of my life, it may be builder. I love building businesses, systems, people, ideas, communities, and opportunities. As a wife and mother, I believe ambition and family do not have to be enemies, and that legacy is much bigger than money. It is the wisdom, faith, values, skills, memories, opportunities, and love that remain in people because we lived.
