“We love because He first loved us.”
Everything begins with God’s love.
Faith & Notes
Sometimes we don’t need a long sermon. Sometimes we just need a reminder.
If you landed here because you found one of my handwritten notes somewhere, welcome, Cousin. I’m really glad it found you. And if you arrived some other way, maybe there is still a little note here with your name on it.
You are loved.
You are seen.
Your life matters.
God has not forgotten you.
Keep going, Cousin.
There is more ahead.
Why I Leave the Notes
I started leaving little handwritten notes because I kept thinking about how many people we pass every day without knowing their story. The person beside us may be grieving. The woman smiling across the room may feel completely overwhelmed. The successful person may be wondering how much longer they can keep going.
Sometimes people simply need someone—even a stranger—to interrupt the noise and remind them: Keep going. You matter. God loves you.
So whenever I feel led, I write a little note. I usually have no idea who will find it. And honestly, that is part of what I love about it.
Did One of My Notes Find You?
I hope that little piece of paper made you stop, even for a moment. I hope you smiled. I hope you felt encouraged. More than anything, I hope it reminded you that God sees you, your prayers matter, your tears matter, your dreams matter—and you matter.
Little Notes Around the World
I write them. I leave them. And then I let them go. Some may be carried home. Every now and then, someone reaches back and tells me, “I needed that.” Those three words are enough.
As real note stories arrive, approved submissions can become a map or gallery. Private stories will always remain private.
Need a Note Today?
There are seasons when God gives us clarity. And there are seasons when He simply gives us enough grace for the next step. Take the next step. Rest when you need to. Ask for help. Pray. Start again.
Please don’t confuse a difficult chapter with the end of your story. God is still writing. And you are still becoming.
You do not have to know how everything will work out in order to keep moving.
What My Faith Means to Me
Not because I have lived a perfect life or understand everything. I love God because I have experienced His faithfulness again and again—sometimes loudly, sometimes quietly, sometimes in answered prayers, and sometimes simply in the grace to wake up and try again.
My faith influences how I work, love my family, lead, give, treat people, define success, and steward what I have been given.
Scriptures I Carry With Me
“We love because He first loved us.”
Everything begins with God’s love.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart.
For seasons when I cannot see the whole road.
Bring the things that worry you to God.
A reminder that I do not have to carry everything by myself.
Work with all your heart.
A reminder that excellence can be an act of worship.
This is the day the Lord has made.
A reminder that today itself is a gift.
God’s plans are larger than my limited view.
A reminder to keep trusting when I cannot see what is ahead.
Gratitude
Gratitude does not mean pretending everything is perfect. It means learning to recognize that even in imperfect seasons, goodness still exists. Sometimes the thing we need most is not more. Sometimes we need new eyes for what is already in our hands.

Leave a Note for Someone Else
It does not need my name on it. It does not need a website. Just encourage somebody. Write a few honest words. Leave them somewhere. And let kindness travel.
You may never know who needed your smile, your generosity, your prayer, your encouragement, or your decision to keep showing up. So keep being kind. Keep using your gifts. Keep loving people. Keep growing. Keep becoming.
And wherever life takes you, don’t forget how deeply you are loved.
With Love, Lilly ♡
